Field Trip

Dear Reader,
Recently I went on a field trip with my graphic design class to the Nerman Museum of Contemporary art. The difference between contemporary art and modern art is that basically contemporary art is newer than modern, which is super weird. In the dining hall there was a large painting that just looked like it was abstract, but as we got closer we saw that it was a painting of a corpse in a forest. As we walked through campus we lots of art. One that I thought was particularly neat was made out of duct tape, but not like a 4th grader's duct tape wallet that makes your money stick to the inside, but a real masterpiece. Soon we found ourselves in the actual museum. It looked so clean and fresh inside.

One of my favorite pieces was actually a kinetic piece that cosisted of thousands of LCD lisghts the lit up. It seemed like the klight had mood swings. They would go from really fast in cary to slow and lazy.
I bet it looks beautiful at night.
Here are some other pics of the art.
An abstract painting
Some of Kaws paintings
Another piece centered around light
